...Speaking of Guadalajara, our good friend and key member of 55 Bay, Matt Gordon departed on a Mexican vacation only a few hours ago with a one-way ticket to go skateboarding, and basically live life to the fullest. Who knows when he will return? Will he ever return??? Have a swashbuckling good time! We'll miss ya buddy.

Victoria's ghetto spot - R.I.P
Location: Victoria, B.C.

Major shout out goes to the Higher Ground dudes for making and keeping this spot a reality. They built obstacles, hosted a G.S.D event, upgraded the ledge, and basically just killed it for the Victoria skate scene. This spot met its demise much like many ghetto spots do, when the obstacles were torn out in preparation for the next building.
